Motorway driving course again at the “Wielkopolanki za kółkiem” rally

On 9 March 2025, the next edition of the car tourist rally “Wielkopolanki za kółkiem”, organised by Automobilklub Wielkopolski, took place. The event, which attracts female motorisation enthusiasts every year, traditionally had its finale on the Poznań circuit, but the participants also competed on the routes of the Poznań district.

Autostrada Wielkopolska, as the originator and organiser of the educational programme Motorway Driving Course, once again took part in this unique event.

A rally that combines competition with education

The “Wielkopolanki za kółkiem” rally is an initiative dedicated exclusively to women, organised on the occasion of the International Women’s Day. It is not only great fun, but also an opportunity to improve driving skills and broaden knowledge of road safety.
In this year’s edition, the crews not only tested their skills on the Poznań circuit, but also on two road sections, where they had the task of finding and noting down the markings of the Passage Control Points. Also awaiting the participants were fitness tests, knowledge tests on road traffic regulations and lectures on changes in regulations and first aid principles.

Motorway driving course on the Poznań circuit

One of the rally challenges was an agility test prepared by the Motorway Driving Course. The task consisted in stopping the vehicle at a certain distance in front of a designated obstacle, which was to test the ability to judge the distance between vehicles – crucial when driving on the motorway.

Our company also funded prizes for the three best crews. The drivers and pilots received vouchers for a driving technique improvement training at the Skoda Autodrom Poznań. The training included a reminder of the principles of safe motorway driving and a training ride under the supervision of an experienced trainer.

Safety and fun in one

The “Wielkopolanki za kółkiem” rally proves that motoring and safety can go hand in hand with good fun. We’ve been involved in the education of drivers and the promotion of safe driving for many years, and that is why we are glad that we could once again support the “Wielkopolanki za kółkiem” rally.
