From October 7, the traffic organization around the Tulce MOP and the Poznań Wschód junction will change. Drivers are asked to follow temporary traffic management signs, adjust their speed to road conditions and drive carefully.
Road workers have already completed work on widening the motorway body on the southern line near the Krzyżowniki MOP (177 km A2 towards Warsaw). From October 7, works will start on the northern part of the motorway. Therefore, a new temporary traffic organization will be conducted:
- The traffic of vehicles going from Warsaw towards Świecko will be routed along the southern section of the motorway from kilometer 180 of A2 (near the Poznań Wschód junction)
- Drivers entering traffic on the A2 at the Poznań Wschód junction (180 km A2) and wanting to go towards Świecko will have at their disposal the fast lane of the northern road, and then, around 179 km, they will enter the southern section of the motorway (“contraflow”)
- From km 179, both traffic flows, from Warsaw and Bydgoszcz, will have two lanes at their disposal on the southern road (“against traffic”), with the left one intended for use only by passenger cars
- In the vicinity of km 177 of A2 (near MOP Tulce), vehicle traffic heading towards Świecko will be redirected to the northern section of the motorway. Drivers will have a fast and slow lane at their disposal. They will also be able to enter the Tulce MOP
- Drivers traveling towards Warsaw will use two lanes of the southern road – the emergency lane and the free lane, with the left one intended for use only by passenger cars
- Drivers who want to exit at the Poznań Wschód junction towards Bydgoszcz (on the S5 road) are asked to pay attention to the exclusion of one of the slipway lanes (right) due to works related to the expansion of the noise barrier. The speed limit here is 50 km/h.
ATTENTION:
Drivers entering traffic at the Poznań Wschód junction and wanting to go towards Warsaw will have to give way to vehicles traveling on the main motorway (STOP sign is in force; no merging lane).
Within the area of the works carried out, the speed limit will be 80 and 60 km/h, respectively.
Road workers will begin introducing signs and other elements of the approved temporary traffic organization on Saturday, October 5.
